The COVID Vaccination programme is now underway. Our registered patients are being contacted based on risk factor.
If you are over 50, an unpaid carer or a Health or Social Care worker and have still not been contacted or vaccinated please get in touch with us and we will book an appointment for you.
Second doses are given at around 70 – 77 days after the first dose, the practice will be in touch via text message or you will receive a telephone call to book your second vaccination a couple of weeks before it is due based on vaccine delivery schedules.
Please note – eConsults will be responded to within 2 working days and are for non-urgent problems. For self-limiting problems please seek advice from your local Pharmacist before submitting an eConsult. If you have an urgent issue please ring the practice (in hours) or NHS 111 (out of hours). Responses may include signposting to an appropriate service, a text message, a phone call, a video consultation or a face to face appointment. The NHS has a full range of self-help information and there are links to various providers such as My life Warrington, NHS Apps library along with the NHS Choices YouTube channel available on our website.Thank You.
“Folly Lane Medical Centre aims to provide high quality medical and anticipatory care to our patients whilst improving the health of the local community and making maximum use of the resources available to us”
You can call 111 when you need medical help fast but it’s not a 999 emergency. NHS 111 is a fast and easy way to get the right help.
There is always a Doctor available for urgent problems. Please telephone the surgery number (01925 417247) and listen carefully to the recorded message, which will give out the necessary details for the Out of Hours Emergency Centre or the Doctor on call.
Emergencies arising in the evenings and at weekends and Bank Holidays are dealt with at the Out-Of-Hours Centre. Please note that the centre is by appointment only (111).
